I found this quote especially appropriate today:
”I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
–Martin Luther King, Jr.
Words of wisdom…worth considering.

Pingback: Great quote on Enemy Death from MLK is a Fake. | The Gay Highwaymen
This turns out to be a mysterious internet meme…not a real MLK quote.
As best as I can find, Sir, it is partially correct, but I am still looking for the actual MLK quote…
It would seem that the original FB post made the initial statement and followed it with a quote from MLK. Later copies omitted the quotation marks and smashed it all together as attributed to MLK…
Here you go, Sir. Quotations were removed from the original Facebook posting, merging the user’s sentiment with Dr. King’s quotation…
